Emurgo launches social platform, Cardano Spot

Emurgo, a founding member and partner of Cardano, has launched Cardano Spot, a social media platform for the Cardano community. Emurgo created Cardano Spot to connect and empower the Cardano community members.

Details of the development indicate that the platform will help to aggregate relevant, high-quality information produced by certain individuals to keep users informed about the Cardano project. Apart from sharing content and connecting amongst Cardano users, Cardano Spot will allow users to make money from the content they produce.

According to the team, Cardano Spot is being designed under Emurgo Media, a media arm for creating media-related products and services for the Cardano ecosystem.

Waitlist on for Cardano Spot 

Speaking on the new development of both Emurgo Media and Cardano Spot, Sebastian Zilliacus, the Managing Director of Emurgo Media, explained that he is excited to lead the Emurgo Media project as an informational bridge between Cardano’s ecosystem of products and services and the community.

He added that as users can access and generate useful content on the Cardano Spot platform, control is given back to the Cardano community to pioneer an industry-leading decentralized blockchain platform.

A wait list has been created for users who want to be part of the Cardano Spot platform. With a total of over 4 million ADA wallets on the Cardano network, there is a huge user base that can kick-start the Cardano Spot platform.

The recently concluded Cardano Summit saw the release of several updates from the Cardano, including Djed, Cardano’s over-collateralized algorithmic stablecoin going live in 2023, Cardano’s new blockchain education course, and the launch of Rizwan Pabani stablecoin on Cardano.
