Notwithstanding, the focus of this post is a step-by-step guide on how to buy Wakanda Inu (WKD) from popular decentralized exchange or AMM, Pancakeswap.
Wakanda Inu is a meme token created on Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Buying the meme token will not prove difficult if the steps below are followed dutifully.
Step 1
First, you need to have a wallet that has a browser for decentralized applications (DApps) and also supports interaction with AMMs.
You can either download Trust wallet or Metamask. Trust Wallet is more preferable in this case due to its ease of use.
Step 2
To buy Wakanda Inu (WKD), you need to have either Binance Coin (BNB) or Binance USD (BUSD) in your Trust Wallet. If you don’t have any BNB or BUSD, you can purchase some from centralized exchanges like Binance or KuCoin.

Step 4
Usually, the base token displayed on Pancakeswap is BNB. However, you can always change it to either BUSD, USDT or other available tokens.
If you wish to swap BUSD for Wakanda Inu, there has to be some amount of smartchain BNB left in your wallet that would serve as a fee to process the transaction.

Step 6

Adding Wakanda Inu Token to Trust Wallet
You can either check your token balance through Pancakeswap or by adding the token to your wallet. To add Wakanda Inu to your wallet, follow this process.
A search for Wakanda Inu does not bring any results because the token is not officially recognised by Trust Wallet. However, you can always input details of the token to add it to your wallet.
Click on ‘Add Custom Token’
Change network from ‘Ethereum’ to Smart Chain.

Wakanda Inu has received considerable support from several African crypto influencers, making it the envy of other meme tokens. However, this is not an indication that you can go ahead to purchase Wakanda Inu without doing diligent research.
