Otherside has officially unveiled the revival of their 2D strategy game, Legends of the Mara (LoTM), titled ‘Shattered,’ after a temporary suspension for essential maintenance.
This return follows a previous statement by the company to gamers that the game will go offline for maintenance which lasted for about 18 hours.
Legends of Mara and Otherside
Legends of the Mara is a 2D strategy game developed by Yuga Labs that immerses players into an intriguing world that picks up where the events of the second Trip left off.
Set in the Otherside universe, this collection-based game explores the origins of the Koda, their primal relationship with the environment, and the story of the Otherside.
Otherside is a company specializing in Web3 technology, developing a gamified, interoperable metaverse blending MMORPG mechanics with Web3-enabled virtual worlds.
The company’s mission is to make Otherside immersive, interactive, and collaborative in a way that’s never been done before, and to co-create the experience with its players.
Additionally, Yuga Labs, the company behind the Bored Ape Yacht Club, is one of the firms helping to build Otherside.
Web3 gaming
According to Otherside, players can get into the game as it is ready for play. The game is split into Seasons 1 and 2, allowing players to participate in various lore linked to the Otherside’s metagame.
