The FIFA Club World Cup is an international men’s association football competition organized by FIFA, the sport’s global governing body.

The tournament brings together the best domestic talent from across the globe, with the winners of each confederation’s premier competition participating.

The current format of the tournament involves seven teams competing for the title at venues within the host nation. These teams include the winners of the AFC Champions League (Asia), CAF Champions League (Africa), CONCACAF Champions League (North, Central America, and Caribbean), CONMEBOL Libertadores (South America), OFC Champions League (Oceania), UEFA Champions League (Europe), and the host nation’s national champions.

According to FIFA, the collection scheduled for December 15 on FIFA Collect+, will comprise 100 rare digital collectibles.

Significantly,  the rarest among them will offer football enthusiasts a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to secure tickets for the FIFA World Cup 26™ final.

Furthermore, it said that the event, which will be held in Jeddah, will commence on December 12 and will see the seven top football teams, including reigning Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad and football giants such as Manchester City FC, Fluminense FC, and more, compete for the trophy.

To enhance accessibility, FIFA+ Collect plans to release an additional 900 digital collectibles on the Polygon network.

These collectibles will be accessible on the OpenSea platform and are set to launch on December 19, coinciding with the peak of the FIFA Club World Cup.

The expanded collection will feature memorable moments from the tournament and digital representations of sought-after memorabilia, offering fans a distinctive and innovative means to engage with the sport.
