Layer 1 blockchain, Aptos, has announced the opening of its Ambassador Program – Aptos Collective. Aptos Collective is designed to bring top contributors on the Aptos blockchain together to build its community and expand the ecosystem.
According to Aptos, qualified candidates of the Aptos Collective will be merged with the core Aptos Foundation and Aptos Labs team members. The goal is to unite them to increase their contribution towards Aptos while the Aptos Collective members gain more hands-on experience related to Web3.
Other advantages spelt out by Aptos for members of Aptos Collective includes limited edition of Aptos Collective swag, invitations to Aptos events, Collective Discord role, personalized career development training, mentoring, access to job opportunities in the Aptos ecosystem, and early access to test and review new features and projects on Aptos.
Expectations from Aptos contributors
To be a contributor, Aptos noted that users don’t have to be part of the technical aspect of Aptos. Contributors can be part of the planning team that can organize meetups for Aptos fans; executing online events such as treasure hunts, quizzes, workshops and contests; and creating content in local languages.
Others are using visuals to explain the Aptos project, creating video contents, memes, GIFs, and stickers. “We expect the first cohort to be accepted and onboarded in February 2023,” Aptos said. “Everyone is encouraged to apply from day one, regardless of background, language ability, or professional background. We are excited to welcome diverse skills and perspectives to the Collective”.
Aptos also created other programs on the Aptos ecosystem such as bug bounty programs for Aptos Core – technical contributors; Aptos World Tour stops, online hackathons, community meet-up grants, quizzes, contests, and much more.
