Aptos blockchain is a layer 1 network designed to be scalable, safe and fast by processing all transactions simultaneously after which they are validated. This is possible because of its parallel execution engine, Block-STM, which also makes it a low transaction cost blockchain.
It was launched by Aptos Lab made up of the team that started the failed Facebook (now Meta) project, Diem. Aptos uses the Rust-based programming language, Move. With a high TPS and a Proof of Stake network supported by a Byzantine Fault Tolerant mechanism, it seems to be a favorite for new projects.
Here are five NFT projects that are in the Aptos ecosystem:
1. Postman DAO
Postman DAO was designed with the idea of an Aptos Postal Service where NFTs are used to deliver happiness to all holders of the Postman NFT. Apart from the NFTs, holders can earn $Mark Tokens as well.
It has a total supply of 10,000 Postman NFTs, 8,000 plus Twitter followers, and a growing discord community. The Postman DAO NFT is live on the Aptos blockchain.
2. Rekt Dogs
Rekt Dogs is one of the first NFT projects designed on the Aptos blockchain. It has pulled more than 44,000 followers on Twitter and over 43,000 members on its Discord channel.
According to the team, the total supply of the NFTs will be 6666, which was available on the mint day. Additionally, the team recently announced a partnership with Souffl3 launchpad. The team has launched the mainnet.
3. Aptos Human Club
The Aptos Human Club collection comprises 7777 Human NFTs on the Aptos Blockchain. The NFTs have gone through a testnet minting on the Aptos network, giving holders a whitelist to mint on the mainnet.
Aptos Human Club NFTs offer $HMN tokens as a reward to holders who stake their NFTs. The team shared that there are plans to have a Human Club marketplace, launchpad, and a game. Additionally, you can join the Discord channel and Twitter community. The mainnet will be launched soon.
4. The Uglies
The Uglies NFTs are a collection of “rabbit looking” non-fungibles on the Aptos blockchain. The team plans to add a vault for the uglies DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), to which 40% of royalties will go.
The community will decide on how the funds will be used to develop the ecosystem further. Other plans by the team include an official token, Aptoka, exploration of a metaverse, and collaboration with other projects. It currently has over 16,000 Twitter followers and 9,000 plus Discord community members. However, the date of launch is yet to be announced.
5. Insilva
The InSilva NFTs is a unique project that bridges the virtual world with the physical world. As a result, holders of the NFTs have access to physical wear.
The team wants to use NFT as a tool to connect with real users’ challenges in the physical world. Currently, it has over 15,000 Twitter followers and more than 8,000 Discord members. InSilva NFT team postponed its testnet.
Other NFT projects on the Aptos blockchain are Aptos Punks, Aptos Ant Club, Aptoads, Unicornses, Aptos Chads, Aptos Alpha Alpacas, Bruh Bears, Aptos Drippy Dragons, Womxn of Aptos NFT, Aptos Ape Society, Aptos Bulls, Aptoast, Heroes of Aptos, Aptos Aliens, Aptos Koalas, and Aptos Robots.
The Aptos ecosystem is still growing after its mainnet went live. There are wallets, PlayToEarn, and other Web3 projects to look out for in the Aptos blockchain.
