Lord of Dragons is a mobile P2E game developed by the game studio, Mynet Inc., where players become dragon lords and build their own kingdoms of dragons. The objective for players is to expand their territory and strengthen their army of dragons to become the ultimate dragon lord.
The game is set in a mythical world where dragons rule and magic is commonplace. Players start with a small kingdom and must gather resources, build structures, and train dragons to defend their kingdom and attack other players. As players progress through the game, they unlock new dragons with unique abilities and upgrade their kingdom to unlock new features and abilities.
One of the unique features of Lord of Dragons is the dragon breeding system. Players can breed different types of dragons to create new, dragons with unique and more powerful abilities. These dragons can be used in battles against other players or in various game modes, including dungeon raids and boss battles.
Lord of Dragons also has a robust multiplayer component, where players can join alliances with other players to form powerful teams and compete against other alliances for dominance. The game also has regular events and competitions that offer rewards and prizes for the top players and alliances.
Why Lord of Dragons
The Global Games Market which generated $209.66 billion in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic was expected to fall by more than $100 billion in 2022. P2E games, which are part of this industry, allow players to earn rewards through in-game assets or NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens).
One of the most popular is Axie Infinity, where players can earn tokens through Axie. Players can also trade their in-game assets at the marketplace to increase their earnings.
As the industry is developing, newer kinds of P2Es are being introduced that will transform what has been available to players. For example, players are given full control of in-game monetary asset ownership via NFT.
While all of these are happening, there are criticisms that P2E games are not built with fun in mind, lack quality, and lack long-term sustainability. In order to access the opportunity of a growing gaming industry and address concerns for P2E games, Lord of Dragons was created.
Components of Lord of Dragons
To play the Lord of Dragons, a player is required to use an NFT which can be traded between players. There are two kinds of gameplay that users can participate in: PVE and PVP.
Each user has the ability to groom their dragons for battle. These battles are part of a quest to be conquered and if achieved, the player is rewarded for their victory. There is also the free-to-play aspect of the game.
While playing, users can create strategies to win battles, kingdoms where they breed their dragons for more wars and battles. The more users win the more they can do in the Lord of Dragons game. It has an NFT marketplace that is still in development, where players can trade dragons and other tokens.
Tokenomics of Lord of Dragons
There are two tokens in the Lord of Dragons game – LORT and LOGT. While players can earn from both tokens, the two tokens have different functions.
LOGT is an ERC-20 token with a maximum supply of 1 billion. It is also the governance token of the game. With it players and guilds can participate in decision-making related to Lord of Dragons. Players and guilds who have demonstrated exceptional growth and achieved high rankings in the game are eligible to hold LOGT tokens and lead the future strategy of the game.
This ensures that the game meets the needs and wants of its dedicated fan base. Moreover, as the number of players increases, the value of LOGT will rise, making it an attractive asset for eligible players.
Holders of the governance token will enjoy a range of benefits and incentives such as voting rights. By empowering passionate and knowledgeable players to shape the game’s future, LOGT allows the community to thrive and expand.
Players can also earn a basic form of reward known as LORT. The game is free-to-play for anyone who downloads the app, and players can earn LORT by completing ten different daily quests without purchasing separate NFTs.
As players progress through the main quests, the difficulty of the daily quests increases. Therefore, players must level up their characters to complete these daily quests. LORT is a BNB Chain token with an unlimited supply.
