MultiversX partners Tencent Cloud on Web3, AI & cloud computing

MultiversX and Tencent Cloud have entered a partnership to integrate Web3 infrastructure into AI and cloud computing. With a large experience in AI and cloud computing, Tencent Cloud will explore and create new products and services on the blockchain infrastructure of MultiversX. 

Tencent Cloud is a subsidiary of Tencent, an internet-based company founded in 1998, launched to help provide limitless cloud-based business services to organizations around the world. These services which leverage its technologies include cloud computing, Big Data analytics, AI, IoT and network security and for the field of gaming, media and entertainment, finance, healthcare, property, retail, travel and transportation.

MultiversX is a blockchain protocol that grants access to initiate fast transactions using sharding. As claimed by the MultiversX, with a TPS of 15,000, six-second latency and a $0.001 transaction cost, it is one of the fastest and cheapest chains. It has a native token called EGLD (Electric Gold) tokens.

MultiversX new products 

The relationship between Tencent Cloud and MultiversX got a boost when the blockchain firm released three new metaverse products – xFabric (a fast, customizable, and easy to deploy blockchain), xPortal (infrastructure that powers products on the metaverse from avatars to finance and social media), and xWorlds (a network of interoperable metaverses).

The MultiversX provides a no-code system where users can build unique products without prior coding experience. The joint effort between the two company will offer the over 10,000 servers on the MultiversX network a cloud infrastructure that is safe. While Tencent looks to deploy nodes on MultiversX.

Beniamin Mincu, CEO of MultiversX said that the fusion with Tencent will help MultiversX fulfill its vision of offering a scalable, open and interoperable platform for the development of metaverses.

We want to support the world of Web3 with our infrastructure which will help connect the virtual world and the real world, Leo Li, Vice President of Europe, Tencent Cloud International added.
