This month, the popular beer producer ‘Budweiser’s Budverse teamed up with FIFA for an exclusive world cup NFT collection.
Collectors with a legal drinking age are already allowed to mint the NFT collection until December 18th via its official platform. Each offers unique experiences, such as a live NFT scoreboard, a web3 mini-game, and more. What’s more? Some lucky holders could win a BUdverse 360 world cup experience too.
This collection allows holders to experience the FIFA World cup in the web3 world and the real one. The drop consists of live scoreboard collectibles minted for $100 per NFT.
At the start, each NFT will be accompanied by a Budverse Merch kit, which can be redeemed post-mint. The kit contains the following items:
- 1 Budweiser Football trading card
- 1 Budweiser World Cup™ scarf
- 1 Budweiser aluminium cup
Also, the lucky NFT holders will receive access to Budverse’s Penalty Kick mini-game. In this mini-game, collectors will be allowed to select their favorite football team for the game.
Collectors can also create their characters, compete for top-ranking positions in the leaderboard, and track the progress of the teams they select in real-time via their NFTs. This is the very first such innovation.
Each Live scoreboard NFT holder is automatically in the running to win Budverse x FIFA World Cup™ 360 experience: a unique world cup experience hospitality package that features perks such as:
- 5-star hotel accommodation for two;
- World Cup™ Finals & Third Place match tickets to Doha;
- All-inclusive food and beverages;
- Exclusive experiences in Doha.
Event dates run from December 15th to December 19th, 2022. Aspiring collectors can mint more NFTs to increase their chances of winning the 360 experience. However, the maximum amount of NFTs mintable for a single wallet is 32.
It is interesting to note that FIIFA and Budverse are celebrating a collaboration that has spanned over 30 years. However, this isn’t the first NFT partnership for Budweiser. Previously, the brand partnered with Basketball Legend Dwyane Made, Zed Run, and VaynerNFT.
