The second journey of Yuga Labs’ Otherside Metaverse will set sail on March 25th. Yuga Labs announced this through their Otherside Meta Twitter.
Yuga Labs, the parent company of the Bored Ape Yacht Club, revealed additional information on the second beta test of their gamified Otherside metaverse platform. Each participant, or “voyager”, will be able to bring one guest along for the ride. On the second trip, the Voyagers will be guided by the first-ever Otherside Team Captains in an immersive game experience called Otherside. The Team captains’ information will be released at a later time.
The second journey will, in addition to the newly added virtual object, contain new surroundings for the traveler to investigate. Among these are a large metropolis and an undersea realm, full of unusual marine life and buried treasures. The team confirmed this in a tweet
They also revealed that they would allow holders of its Otherdeed NFTs to take part in this trip as well as many others. At the time of writing, the floor price of an Otherdeed for Otherside NFT is at 1.93 ETH and has made a total volume of 524,762 ETH with only 2% of total NFTs being listed.
The Otherside Metaverse provides users with an immersive experience that allows them to explore a variety of virtual landscapes, buy and sell virtual items, and even participate in-game activities. The first trip offered by the platform, which was released in the latter half of 2021, was a huge success, and over four thousand customers signed up to take part in the adventure. It was rumoured to have even caused congestion on the Ethereum network

Yuga Labs will likely further cement its position as a market leader with the upcoming introduction of the second trip.
