Curry and the crypto world
The NBA star has been involved in the crypto space since 2021 where he purchased a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT for $206,000. Earlier this year, LinksDAO, a DAO that’s investing in golf by using NFTs, and other blockchain-based assets, announced the investment made by Curry.
Reports show that Curry’s investment in LinksDAO includes the purchase of “Leisure Membership” and “LinksDAO Global Membership” NFTs for 0.29 ETH and 1.12 ETH, respectively. And this pushed the price of the Leisure Membership NFT upward to 0.72 ETH and the Global Membership NFT to 2 ETH.
In another deal, Curry became an ambassador of the FTX exchange in March 2022.
