Following successive NFT projects, Binance and football star, Cristiano Ronaldo, have joined forces again to introduce the CR7 ForeverZone Collection.
The primary objective of this third Non-fungible token (NFT) release is to enhance fan engagement within the sports and entertainment sector.
According to Binance, this collection is made up of 50,000 limited-edition mystery boxes, each containing a distinct CR7-themed digital NFT.
The boxes also offer tangible rewards, such as autographed footballs and jerseys, along with a single golden NFT ticket.
The crypto said that one fan, who wins this ticket, will have the privilege to partake in an exclusive training session with Cristiano Ronaldo himself.
Crypto and Sports
Binance as well as other crypto firms such as Crypto.com, and Socios.com, have taken strategic steps in advancing the course of Web3 using sports and entertainment as a tool.
With a large fan base in the sports industry, it presents a unique opportunity to onboard more users into the crypto space.
A more specific example can be seen with the socios.com platform that has pioneered tokens for football teams such as Barcelona, Tottenham, Argentina Football Team, AS Roma, Juventus, and more.

Speaking about the partnership, Ronaldo said that the project with Binance aims to forge a more intimate connection with his supporters and provide them with unparalleled experiences, enabling them to share in his legacy.
Rachel Conlan, Chief Marketing Officer at Binance, in support of Ronaldo’s stance added that the collaboration is beyond sports as it embodies a shared vision employing cutting-edge Web3 technology.
All Binance users will have access to the collections from October 11 to 24, 2023. Additionally, Binance said that fans can acquire these ForeverZone boxes through various means, including special allocations for previous CR7 NFT holders, new user registrations on Binance using the code MEETCR7, and successful referrals.
