Injective is calling for Web3 enthusiasts to apply for its first hackathon program. According to the protocol, the program will give individuals and teams an opportunity to build the next line of innovative dApps while being mentored by top Web3 professionals.
Injective is a fast interoperable layer one blockchain that combines Cosmos and Ethereum interoperability to power dApps. With Injective, developers have an SDK that can build exchanges, DeFi, derivatives & Web3 apps. Injective has the backing of Binance, Jump Crypto, Pantera, and Mark Cuban.
Breakdown of the Injective hackathon
The Injective hackathon is meant to last for one month – four weeks in total and each week has a particular focus. According to Injective, the first week will be a kick off week with a series of events including an open ceremony, one on one experience with the Web3 industry leader on the procedures that will be ensured during the hackathon. This will act as a guide for approved applicants for the hackathon.
Injective also added that in the second week, team members will attend multiple technical panels, and workshops to expose them to the elementary of using Injective infrastructure after which building commences. Fine-tuning of projects as team members connect with mentors to offer assistance will be the focus of the third week.
According to Injective, the assistance and connection with mentors will help teams bring their final product to life. The fourth week is also known as the demo week. The demo week gives team members an opportunity to present their projects while judges from Injective will vet them, and the hackathon starts while awards are given for work done.
Other details of the Injective hackathon
The Program is open to anyone interested in building a Web3 project using the Injective infrastructure to solve problems in society. Another important notice by Injective is that the entire Program is online, and has up to $1,000,000 in global prizes with various funding opportunities led by renowned VCs.
Also, individuals as well as a team of not more than 5 persons can apply for the program. However, each person is mandated to apply as an individual for easy compilation.
