The Algorand Foundation has announced enormous partnerships in India to expand Web3 in the country. According to the foundation’s official announcement on Twitter, the partnerships will all be focused on increasing Algorand blockchain adoption, cultivating Web3 developers, and expanding the region of 1.4 billion people.

The Algorand Foundation stated that, in order to create educational programs, it partnered with the Indian School of Business and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. Programs for faculty development and training for student developers are included in this. Algorand will also host a master class for companies interested in entering the Web3 marketplace.

Anil Kakani, recently recruited as the national head for India by Algorand, stated that the goal is to have a long-lasting effect to enhance access to financial services, healthcare, education, and a host of other vital services. He also stated that the foundation is ready to take on leadership roles in India and around the world.

With more than 600 corporate partners, Algorand is set to partner with T-Hub, India’s top innovation hub. Through this partnership, established companies and start-ups can create scalable, significant blockchain-based solutions.

According to M. S. Rao, CEO of T-Hub, “Our new relationship with Algorand is significant evidence of that, especially considering the sustainability and practical utility of its blockchain in a market like India.”

M.S. Rao added that the partnership will help the ecosystem be able to scale globally and access financing from all across the world.

Algorand will also serve as a technology partner for the $50 million Global Climate Resilience Fund. The fund will help regional business owners by connecting them with carbon markets and allowing them to profit from the green energy generated by their operations.

Staci Warden, CEO of the Algorand Foundation, expressed his excitement to be back in India and to see people across the country accept and enthusiastically embrace technology that can so drastically and positively improve their quality of life.

Warden also stated that the partnerships will enable blockchain to realize its full potential and assist the local ecosystem in becoming a more inclusive economy.
