Spanish football powerhouse Atlético de Madrid has announced an expanded partnership with Chiliz, a leading blockchain provider for sports. This move aims to further strengthen the club’s Fan Token and improve fan engagement through an integration with the Atlético de Madrid app.
The expanded partnership, facilitated by Chiliz’s Socios.com platform, promises a wider range of benefits and rewards for Atlético de Madrid Fan Token holders. Crucially, fans will now be able to access exclusive opportunities directly through the club’s official app, streamlining the Fan Token experience.
This integration, powered by Chiliz partner LiveLike is a big step forward for Fan Token technology which enables fans to enjoy benefits beyond the Socios platform. A “Fan Token Experience” launches today in beta, incorporating gamified features specifically designed for Atlético de Madrid fans.
Per Chiliz, daily Fan Polls and trivia quizzes will allow fans to earn points redeemable for various club-related rewards and experiences. This system also offers fans who don’t currently hold Fan Tokens the chance to earn their first one for free.

Chiliz has teamed up with Azuro to enhance on-chain sports prediction markets. By merging their expertise – Chiliz in fan engagement solutions and Azuro in prediction infrastructure – they aim to provide added value to users. As part of their collaboration, the two companies will introduce a joint grant program aimed at encouraging developers to utilize their combined infrastructure to create new dApps.
