UniSat Wallet is an open-source Chrome extension wallet designed for Bitcoin Ordinals and BRC-20 tokens. It allows users to store and transfer their Ordinals NFTs and see unconfirmed NFTs immediately.
This wallet holds the distinction of being the first open-source browser extension wallet for Bitcoin NFTs. It is built using TypeScript and boasts 539 stars on GitHub as of September 2023.
UniSat Wallet is designed to be easy to use for both beginners and advanced users. The wallet is available on the Google Chrome web store.
BRC-20 tokens represent an experimental standard for fungible tokens on the Bitcoin blockchain. withiney are created via the Ordinals protocol, which was made possible by the Taproot upgrade to the Bitcoin network.
BRC-20 tokens use JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) Ordinals inscriptions to initiate token contracts, create new tokens, and move tokens around.
However, the BRC-20 protocol currently has very limited functionality compared to ERC-20. Users are currently limited to only minting, deploying, and transferring tokens.
