Verseshoe has announced the integration of Chainlink VRF into its NFT development and reward system. The integration brings in one of the best Web3 Oracles to provide a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness needed to upgrade NFTs on the Verseshoe platform as well as distribute rewards to users.

Verseshoe is a metaverse where users can create, interact with others, trade, and win rewards as animated NFT shoes. It features a gamified experience with a huge collection of animated shoes that also allow users to build unique fashion brands while connecting with a large community. Verseshoe users can also race cars, build houses, and complete various missions with their team.

Chainlink is an industry leader in providing access to data and interoperability for DeFi, insurance, gaming, NFTs, and other major industries in a decentralized format.

Developers have access to tools that can be used to build resourceful Web3 applications with access to real-world data and off-chain computation across chains in the Chainlink ecosystem. Such tools include the Chainlink VRF (Verifiable Random Function), a verifiable random number generator (RNG) through which smart contracts can access random values without compromising security or usability.

Mint date for the Verseshoe NFTs

Verseshoe will have its first NFT mint on February 28th, 2023. The mint is focused on holders of its token who will be given access to a series of NFTs designed to utilize AI and other Web3 design models.

Explaining the integration with Chainlink, Verseshoe said that the importance of Chainlink’s VRF was to bring transparency into its ecosystem, especially in regard to rewards for users, and “this will guarantee that the results of any actions within the app, such as prize distributions, are determined through a randomized and unbiased process”.

The choice of Chainlink is due to its deep research, time-tested oracle network, and use of the generation and on-chain verification of cryptographic proofs for security. Verseshoe noted that the integration will enhance user experience as trust is built during the sharing of rewards built on fairness.
