Musk discovers ‘magic money computers’ creating money

Elon Musk claims federal "magic money computers" create money from nothing, existing in agencies like Treasury and Defense, impacting coherence.

Elon Musk claims he has discovered 14 “magic money computers within federal institutions that seemingly produce money from nothing.

These computers, which exist in several government agencies like the Treasury, Defense, and Health and Human Services, can effectively create and send money from nowhere, according to Musk.

“You may think that the government computers all talk to each other, they’re synchronized, they add up what funds are going where, and it’s coherent and that the numbers you’re presented as a senator are the real numbers, Musk said in a March 17 episode of Senator Ted Cruz’s podcast Verdict with Ted Cruz.

“They’re not totally wrong, but they’re probably off by 5% or 10% in some cases. So I call it ‘magic money computer’ — any computer that can make money out of thin air. That’s magic money.”

Jameson Lopp, the chief security officer at Casa, reacted to Musk’s comment by stating, “Bitcoin fixes this.”

Bitcoin enthusiasts consistently highlight its capped supply of 21 million coins as a reason it can act as a hedge against currency devaluation, unlike fiat, which governments can inflate through “printing.”

Musk’s latest DOGE discoveries reveal that multiple U.S. government departments possess significantly more credit cards, media accounts, and soeloftware subscriptions than they have employees—at times, twice as many.

In his view, bureaucratic waste and errors account for about 80% of these cases, rather than fraud, as some companies continue receiving unintended payments.

Government officials are not stepping in to recover the funds.

“We saw a lot of payments going out of Treasury that had no payment code and no explanation for the payment, and then we’re trying to figure out what that payment is, Musk said.

“Then we see that, okay, that contract was supposed to be shut off, but someone forgot to shut off that contract, and so the company kept getting money. Now, is that waste or fraud?”

However, due to his focus on DOGE, Musk has caused setbacks in his other ventures.

The “Take Down Tesla” movement, which opposes DOGE’s cost-cutting actions, has led vandals to target multiple Tesla facilities nationwide.
