Tech talent company Altschool will train 1,000 young people across Africa in tech skills thanks to a partnership with leading cryptocurrency exchange, Bybit.
Through a scholarship provided through the collaboration of the two firms, participants will learn valuable tech skills to build a future in the digital world.
Bybit has designated $100,000 into this project to fund AltSchool Africa’s Diploma program, which trains students in some of today’s most in-demand jobs.
Young Africans will get the chance to learn software engineering, data analytics, and product management that companies around the world desperately need workers for.
The program doesn’t just stop at lessons. AltSchool Africa plans to guide students every step of the way. Mentors will share their expertise, career counselors will help students figure out their next moves, and hands-on projects will let them practice what they learn. The goal is to make sure students don’t just study but also succeed in real-world jobs.
Bybit, known as a market leader in the crypto exchange business, wants to do more than just business. The company sees this partnership as a way to give back and create opportunities.
