Ankr partners with The Open Network to revolutionize dApp development on TON, potentially reaching 950 million Telegram users.

Ankr, a blockchain infrastructure provider, has partnered with The Open Network (TON) to transform how decentralized applications (dApps) are developed on TON. This blockchain, created in collaboration with Telegram, has the potential to reach an audience of 950 million users.

By integrating TON into its Web3 API service, Ankr equips developers with powerful tools and a robust framework for creating next-generation dApps, digital assets, and more.

This integration simplifies the development process within the Telegram ecosystem, allowing developers to access the TON blockchain seamlessly through Ankr’s API endpoints.

Chandler Song, Co-Founder and CEO of Ankr, sharing his enthusiasm about the collaboration, said that, “Ankr is thrilled to support development on TON and ignite the proliferation of next-gen dApps, digital assets, games, and more on Telegram and beyond.”

He emphasized that the partnership aims to lower the barriers to development, enabling innovative functionalities to emerge.

“As the messaging app is already so vital to our industry, we will be very excited to see innovative new functionality come to life with barriers to building now removed.” – Song

Anthony Tsivarev, Director of Ecosystem Development at the TON Foundation, echoed this sentiment. He noted that the collaboration is indicative of a commitment to providing developers with the necessary resources to quickly build dApps on TON while leveraging Telegram’s extensive global reach.

“We’re creating a developer-friendly environment to kickstart the web3 flywheel for the masses,” he added.

The collaboration not only overcomes traditional technical hurdles in blockchain development but also opens new opportunities for Telegram users and developers to engage with blockchain technology in meaningful ways.

Ankr’s Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs) act as essential links between wallets, command-line interfaces, and decentralized applications, enabling efficient communication with the TON blockchain.

These RPCs serve as messengers, relaying crucial information and allowing users to execute tasks such as transactions, checking wallet balances, and retrieving ownership data without the complexity of managing their own nodes.

With the introduction of geo-distributed TON RPCs powered by Asphere, developers can enjoy low-latency connections, making it easier to access TON’s capabilities.

This collaboration removes the complexities of node operations, allowing developers to bypass the time-consuming tasks of setting up and maintaining TON nodes.

Per Ankr, their Premium RPC Plan enhances the development experience with advanced tools such as high request limits, dedicated TON endpoints, prioritized support, and WebSocket capabilities.

Together, Ankr and Asphere aim to strengthen the TON network. They provide a broader decentralized infrastructure, simplify the development process, and foster a more accessible environment for blockchain innovation.
