Vladimir Smerkis, the co-founder of Blum, has announced that Blum will no longer limit the number of friends each player of its game can invite citing complaints from its community. Several community members have said that influencers will benefit more from Blum.
In response to this, the co-founder in a YouTube broadcast noted that it is natural for people with more networks to have more persons join Blum. However, the new system will allow anyone to invite as many as they want without blaming influencers for their lack of referral bonuses.
“Speaking of equality with influencers, you need to understand one thing influencers have more friends than you by default,” he said. “It doesn’t matter if they started 2 months ago or they are starting today, they still definitely have the advantage and there’s nothing that can be done about it and they do a lot of good for the project.”
Blum is a crypto game available as a Mini app on Telegram, designed to engage users through interactive gameplay and introduce them to basic cryptocurrency mechanics.
The primary gameplay involves tapping on falling stars or objects to earn points. Players need to tap on blue or green stars while avoiding other objects that can reset their points. This simple yet engaging mechanic keeps players coming back to improve their scores and earn more points.

Speaking further, he said that Blum participated in Binance’s MVP acceleration program and is awaiting Binance’s investment decision. The app has seen significant growth, gaining over 35 million users.
Recently, Blum released a game called “Drop Game” and collaborated with artists like Pocra Lampas. More collaborations with international artists are planned according to Vladimir.
The co-founder also revealed that a new campaign called “Friend Mania” has been launched, rewarding users who invite friends with money and Blum points. Blum has also integrated TON Connect. This will allow users to use multiple wallets as well as future wallet features, including the introduction of the Blum Wallet and support for Wallet Connect.
Aside from the new quests added every two weeks for players, Vladimir noted that Tribes, which are communities within Blum, will be launched soon to allow users to create and compete with their tribes for rewards.
Additionally, Blum will launch Meme Pad, a service that will enable users to launch their own meme tokens and community tokens, with swaps for different assets planned for the third quarter. By the fourth quarter, Blum aims to introduce Perpetual Futures, allowing leverage trading with various assets.
Vladimir hinted that that the team is growing, with new hires and encouraged users to follow Blum on LinkedIn and Telegram for more updates.
