Pixelverse unveils Pixelchain, the pioneering EVM-compatible Layer 2 solution for the TON blockchain, revolutionizing Web3 gaming.

In the Web3 gaming sector, few projects have captured attention like Pixelverse. Recently, Pixelverse announced the introduction of Pixelchain, the first fully EVM-compatible Layer 2 for the TON blockchain, a move that could significantly advance Pixelverse and its community.

Pixelverse’s journey began with a single game but has since evolved into a vibrant multiverse of gaming and content-driven products. With over 75 million registered users and 15 million daily active users, Pixelverse has quickly become a powerhouse in the GameFi sector. The introduction of Pixelchain is set to further cement its position as a leading force in the industry.

Pixelchain is designed to integrate deeply with the TON ecosystem, leveraging the strong ties Pixelverse has built with the Telegram community. This integration is more than just technical; it represents a commitment to creating seamless experiences for both the existing web3 audience and new users. Pixelchain’s architecture brings full EVM compatibility and security through its own validators and consensus mechanisms.

The tokenomics of Pixelchain provides strong utility to both TON and PIXFI according to Pixelverse, with staking and governance roles ensuring that PIXFI has unparalleled utility within the ecosystem.

Beyond its uses throughout the Pixelverse, PIXFI can be staked to validators to secure the Layer 2 network, providing a robust foundation for the chain’s continued growth.

Kirill Volgin’s vision for Pixelverse

At the helm of Pixelverse is CEO Kirill Volgin, whose vision for the project goes beyond traditional gaming. In a recent video, Volgin shared his ambition to create a simulation of reality within Pixelverse.

Unlike standard games with predetermined paths, Pixelverse offers a dynamic and chaotic world where players’ actions significantly impact the game environment. This player-driven approach ensures that every decision and interaction is meaningful, providing a unique and immersive experience.

Volgin’s philosophy extends to every aspect of Pixelverse, from the economic system to social interactions. The economic system is entirely player-driven, mimicking real-world principles of supply and demand. Players can create and own businesses, engage in various economic activities, and even hire other players to complete tasks.

A Player-Driven World

One of the core components of Pixelverse is its player-driven open world. In this universe, all items are created and owned by players. From small bars to towering skyscrapers, every building belongs to players, who can own businesses and make profits.

Corporations, unions, and alliances are all controlled by players, ensuring that every significant purchase, contract, job, or deal results in profit or loss for real players, not NPCs. This level of player control fosters a deeply immersive and interactive world where every decision has tangible consequences.

The economic system in Pixelverse is entirely player-driven, mimicking real-world economic principles. Players can buy and sell goods at their own prices, responding to supply and demand dynamics.

If a player doesn’t want to complete a quest, they can hire another player to do it. This system encourages players to create corporations, hire employees, and engage in various economic activities. The live economy in Pixelverse makes every transaction meaningful and impactful, adding depth and realism to the game.

Pixelverse offers a sophisticated system of social interactions that adds richness and complexity to the game. Players can engage in activities such as killing, looting, and even stealing other players’ bodies to do the dirty work.

They can form relationships, marry for in-game benefits, and even go through divorce proceedings that involve splitting assets or hiring player lawyers. This intricate system of social interactions encourages players to negotiate, trade, and collaborate to succeed, making Pixelverse a rich and engaging experience.

Pixelverse features a wide range of professions, including builders, crafters, chemists, miners, hackers, shooters, and many others. However, players cannot master all professions on their own.

They need to interact, trade, and negotiate with others to succeed. Successful manufacturing or construction requires a team, and this collaboration can be for material gain or social status. This emphasis on teamwork and specialization adds another layer of realism and engagement to the game.

In addition to its player-driven world and live economy, Pixelverse boasts an advanced crafting system and epic mass battles. Players can create a vast array of items and customize their world in numerous ways.

The game also features large-scale battles that provide thrilling and intense gameplay experiences. These elements combine to create a rich and immersive game world where players can achieve their goals in a myriad of ways.

A Multiverse of Possibilities

Pixelverse goes beyond the confines of a single-game world. It is a multiverse where players can move seamlessly between different universes connected through a sophisticated SDK and the PixelChain blockchain.

This seamless teleportation allows players to continue their adventures and character development in entirely new environments or universes. This interconnected multiverse offers limitless possibilities, greatly expanding the potential of Pixelverse.

Pixelverse has already recorded major successes, but according to Kirill, this is just the beginning. The future holds even more exciting developments, promising something big and new, something that has never existed before. With its player-driven world, live economy, advanced social interactions, and expansive multiverse, Pixelverse is set to transform the gaming industry.

Pixelverse offers a glimpse into the future of cyberpunk MMORPGs, where players have the freedom to shape their world, engage in meaningful economic activities, and navigate complex social interactions. With a vision rooted in creating a realistic simulation and a community-driven approach, Pixelverse could become a landmark in the gaming world.

Notcoin partnership, PIXFI listing, and Pixelchain testnet

The introduction of Pixelchain coincides with Pixelverse’s recent partnership with Notcoin, a leading gaming project on the TON blockchain. According to Pixelverse, this collaboration aims to bolster the synergy between the two projects, leveraging their combined strengths for mutual benefit.

As part of this partnership, Pixelverse will launch a marketing campaign specifically designed to benefit Notcoin token holders. This campaign will feature $NOT staking and a Notcoin quest with a substantial prize pool of $250,000. Pixelverse has indicated that further integrations with $NOT are planned, with more exciting announcements expected soon.

While Pixelverse which recently secured a $2 million investment bringing its total fundraising to $7.5 million is not the first Web3 gaming project to launch a game-focused blockchain—following in the footsteps of Sky Mavis, the developer of Axie Infinity, which launched the Ronin Ethereum sidechain in 2021—it holds a distinctive position as the first to bring EVM compatibility and functionality to the TON blockchain. This strategic move is set to significantly improve the capabilities and reach of blockchain gaming on the TON platform.

Central to Pixelverse’s economy is the PIXFI token, which is set to list on centralized exchanges on July 18, 2024. This token will enable a wide range of functionalities and use cases within the Pixelverse ecosystem.

Pixelverse has announced that the token distribution will commence soon, including an airdrop for existing Pixelverse users, further incentivizing participation and engagement within the platform.

Following the PIXFI token launch, the Pixelchain testnet is scheduled to go live next week. This testnet launch marks an important step in Pixelverse’s ongoing development.
