DeFiLlama to beta test ChatGPT plugin to make data more accessible

0xngmi, co-founder of DeFiLlama, has announced the platform will soon launch beta testing for its ChatGPT plugin. The plugin, according to the co-founder, was built by Kofi, a crypto data guru, and contributor at DeFiLlama.

Additionally, as the platform and users await the launch, a waitlist has been provided for two categories of people. Firstly, users who have access to the plugin on ChatGPT and users who are willing to give feedback on the plugin.

The data guru building the plugin stated that “at the moment, only some Plus users get plugins. Users in the US who have Plus subscriptions get plugins automatically, he said. Adding that, “If you live elsewhere you sign up for the waitlist.”

The ChatGPT plugin will allow users to query DeFiLlama ‘s data using prompts. The creator’s examples of questions related to the platform’s data that users can ask include “which lsd projects grew most after March?” or “Was there any big change in tvl on (day of multichain tweet) for any chains?” 

He added that the sample questions are just to illustrate the idea that [the] goal is to make DeFiLlama ‘s data easier to query through another medium. “idk if they’ll work,” he said.

DeFiLlama is an open-source TVL aggregator for crypto; DeFi (Decentralized Finance), projects, and protocols. It provides users with real-time data on liquidity and other metrics across various platforms.
