Moonbirds, parent company PROOF, and the 3D world-building platform Mona announced the collaboration at Consensus 2023 to create a digital space for the NFT project.
The “Moonbirds Monaverse” resulting from the partnership will offer a socializing platform for community members and access to virtual experiences.
Activities in the virtual space include town halls, parties, and art reveals which according to the companies are aimed at bringing people together and creating value for PROOF with more than 6000 NFT holders.
“We will continue to provide unique experiences aimed at combining immersive art and technology to our holders. The world Mona has created unlocks a new way for Moonbirds holders to hang out and enjoy digital art together,” Kevin Rose, the co-founder, and CEO of PROOF.
Moonbirds is a 10,000-pixel art owls collection on the Ethereum blockchain. Each of the NFTs gives access to private club membership and other benefits for longer holders.
Recently, Moonbirds migrated to making art for the project’s “North Star” and became the “art collectors PFP” with 22 artists lineup for a new collection to reward long-term holders.
Mona is a metaverse-focused platform designed to empower the creation, collection, and sharing of immersive experiences on the blockchain via Metaverse. The platform also features a marketplace for the metaverse.
PROOF has had difficulty sailing in the market downturn with a Moonbird floor price decline, however, the firm hopes the partnership is what it needs to get back on course.
