Coinbase has announced a new crypto policy campaign aimed at gearing support for the entire crypto community. The project called “Stand with Crypto commemorative NFT” is targeted at unifying efforts toward “sensible crypto policy”.
For a long time, regulators have shown keen interest in the crypto industry with a lot of rules, regulations, and legal charges leveled against crypto firms as much as crypto personalities. Examples are the allegations against Binance, and its CEO, CZ by the SEC and Coinbase as well.
According to Coinbase, users who want to participate in the “Stand with Crypto commemorative NFT” project can mint the NFT on Zora for a negligible figure. The NFT has a blue shield which symbolizes an integrated effort to protect and advance the future growth of cryptocurrency

- Step 3: Sign up to become a Crypto435 advocate
The crypto exchange added that all fees accrued from the mint of the NFT will be “donated to vetted organizations through a Crypto Advocacy Round with Gitcoin.” It will also support the work of DeFi Education Fund, Blockchain Association, Fight for the Future, Coin Center, NGO focused on crypto policies; and The Block Foundation.
Speak out on Crypto 435
In addition to the NFT project, #Crypto435 initiative was added to help people share their thoughts on what policies should look like in the industry. Crypto435 is a grassroots effort that seeks to promote pro-crypto policies in all 435 Congressional Districts throughout the United States.
As policymakers in the United States are debating the future of cryptocurrency, it’s important that the entire crypto community be part of that process. “Their decisions will impact how, when, and where YOU may develop, purchase, trade, and utilize cryptocurrency, therefore they must get it right,” Coinbase said.
