Binance.US has announced a partnership with Unstoppable Domains to enable American users to create Web3 domains for free. Unstoppable Domains are blockchain-based domains that allow users to create human-readable names for their cryptocurrency addresses.
According to the announcement, the new partnership with Unstoppable will allow customers to create “.BinanceUS” domains, giving them easy-to-remember names for cryptocurrency wallets to buy, sell, and transfer cryptocurrency in the Binance.US app. These unique domains also serve as a digital identity across compatible Web3 services, apps, and platforms.
In addition, Unstoppable Domains users will also be able to utilize Binance US to withdraw cryptocurrency to a variety of Unstoppable Domains addresses, including .crypto, .nft, and .x domains.
Also, the Binance.US domains will be minted on the Polygon blockchain, which enables the creation of decentralized domains without gas fees or renewal charges.
According to Unstoppable, BinanceUS domains are a special use case, designed to work within the BinanceUS app. “They allow you to easily send and receive over 80 types of cryptocurrency, replacing a long string of random numbers & letters with a custom name.”
The objective of Binance.US, according to Nandini Maheshwari, Vice President of Business Development, is to increase access to Web3 while ensuring a secure environment for consumers. “We’re thrilled to partner with Unstoppable and Polygon to streamline the crypto experience for our community and give users access to control their digital identities.” He stated.
