Coinbase Wallet has integrated support for the Ethereum’s internet of blockchains – Polygon.
Polygon describes itself as a protocol and a framework for building and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks. Aggregating scalable solutions on Ethereum supporting a multi-chain Ethereum ecosystem.
Polygon announced that Coinbase Wallet Mobile app and extension will now be available for the network. And it will allow faster and cheaper transactions and provide easy access to Decentralized Applications (DApps). Polygon noted that it “will definitely enhance the whole DeFi ecosystem and will make it more accessible.”
Connecting to Polygon on the Coinbase Wallet is easy as described by the chain of chains firm. Users simply have to navigate to Settings, select Active Network and then choose Polygon Network. Once this is done, users will be able to conduct transactions and access DApps on the Polygon Network.

Since rebranding to Polygon from Matic, the technology firm has been building and releasing products and making ecosystem growing partnerships.
Two weeks ago, it released a new product, Avail. Avail is described as a general purpose, scalable data availability-focused blockchain targeted for standalone chains, sidechains and offchain scaling solutions. It was revealed Polygon had been working on the project since last year, 2020.
In the long term, Avail will enable a wide range of options and resources without teams and projects having to bootstrap their own security.

The company also earlier announced it has block explorer, the Polygonscan which is powered by Etherscan. The explorer will support developers and make it easier for them launch decentralized applications on the network and as well as for everyday users.
Once users choose Polygon Network on the Coinbase Wallet, it will automatically reflect on the App. Users who do not see this is advised to upgrade to the latest version of the App.
Polygon believes this integration will make accessing DeFi easier and faster.
