Arbitrum launches ArbiFuel to empower builders, eliminate gas fees

Builders on Arbitrum can now take advantage of the network’s gas fee program, ArbiFuel to accelerate development on the chain.

Arbitrum Foundation launches “ArbiFuel, a gas fee sponsorship program for builders to empower early-stage teams and developers to build more quickly, test freely, onboard users to their products all without gas fees.

The ArbiFuel applications will remain open for three months until August 29, 2025. The program is scheduled to run for the same duration, from May 30 to August 30, 2025. Selected projects will benefit from a seamless, cost-free entry into their application, powered by Pimlico’s ERC-20 Paymasters and later Arbitrum will expand to other Paymasters based on project needs.

According to the Arbitrum Foundation, the program aims to cover up to 1,000,000 free transactions in the first year, capped at $10,000 in credits per team, and also power users of builders’ products with a seamless, cost-free entry into their application.

The ArbiFuel program is designed to support and empower early-stage developers who are building the next generation of decentralized applications on the Arbitrum network.

The program is open to a wide range of projects, particularly those that focus on improving accessibility, usability, and financial infrastructure within the blockchain ecosystem. 

This includes teams developing simplified UX applications to make blockchain interactions more intuitive and user-friendly for everyday users, thereby lowering the barrier to entry for non-technical audiences. It also supports developers in creating innovative wallet solutions that streamline digital asset management and enable secure, frictionless transactions.

Arbitrum wants developers building payment-focused applications that take advantage of the program, Arbitrum’s speed and low fees to apply.

With ArbiFuel, the Arbitrum Foundation seeks to nurture a diverse ecosystem of solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible with decentralized technology.

The ArbiFuel program is part of the Arbitrum Foundation’s efforts to support the growth of the Arbitrum ecosystem. The foundation has also launched other initiatives, including the AI Trailblazer program, Arbitrum Grants, and the Arbitrum Gaming Ventures.
