Google Cloud is now collaborating with ZetaChain as a network validator, aiming to accelerate the growth of Web3 technology and Universal Apps within the ZetaChain ecosystem.
ZetaChain is a Web3 project focused on creating a Universal Blockchain, enabling seamless connections across any blockchain. This partnership with Google Cloud seeks to enhance the security and robustness of ZetaChain’s network, which includes more than 290 partner applications.
Google Cloud will serve as a validator for ZetaChain on both its mainnet and testnet, playing a crucial role in securing the network and expanding its validator ecosystem.
ZetaChain announced that it will allocate 1,000,000 ZETA tokens to five validators operating on Google Cloud. This initiative is part of the broader 10,000,000 ZETA Foundation Delegation Program.
Additionally, developers building on ZetaChain can now apply for Google Cloud credits through the Web3 Startups Program, aiding in the creation of Universal Smart Contracts that function across blockchains like Bitcoin without requiring additional infrastructure.
Google Cloud is integrating ZetaChain’s testnet faucet to simplify access to test tokens for developers experimenting with Universal Smart Contracts. This feature is expected to streamline testing and accelerate the deployment of new projects.
This collaboration marks a significant advancement for ZetaChain’s Universal Blockchain, which already boasts over 4 million connected wallets and has processed 150 million transactions. With support from Google Cloud, ZetaChain aims to further expand its reach and make Web3 technology more accessible to a global audience.
