The Open League Hackathon, a celebration of innovation and creativity, has concluded with the announcement of its winners. This event brought together talented developers and teams to foster cutting-edge solutions and push the boundaries of technology.
The hackathon provided a platform for participants to collaborate, learn, and showcase their expertise. With a focus on innovative dApps and appealing token mining mechanisms, the event encouraged out-of-the-box thinking and creative problem-solving.
The eight-week hackathon saw participation from over 2,000 hackers, with more than 1,000 projects submitted. Across thirteen bootcamps, 1,970 attendees were recorded. The prize pool totaled $2,280,000, covering awards for top teams, liquidity incentives, accelerator support, and other benefits.
The hackathon featured categories such as GameFi and Onboarding, Social Web3, DeFi, and eCommerce. After rigorous evaluation, winners were announced in various categories.
In the GameFi and Onboarding category, the winners were:
– Cat Gold Miner: A game introducing Voucher NFTs, unique tokens representing both progress and privilege.
– Chick Coop: An innovative NFT integration allowing holders to become keyholders to various minigames within the game’s universe.
– Hamsterdam: A strategic management game that cleverly combines meticulous game balance with the thrilling essence of unpredictability through probability.
The Social Web3 category featured Boosteam, Overleap, and Tontch.
Boosteam allows you to capitalize on your Premium subscription by earning TON through boosting channels, unlocking additional features, and growing your influence on Telegram with each boost.
Overleap is a paid Q&A platform where users create messages and pay in USDT. These messages can be easily sent to individuals and groups or shared on other platforms using links.
Tontch is a platform designed to empower the live broadcasting economy by integrating the capabilities of the TON blockchain.
From the DeFi category, SettleTON, TON Hedge, and Curdle Protocol (now rebranded as Torch Finance) emerged as winners.
In other news, two former members of the TON Foundation launches a new $40M venture fund to support early-stage projects building on TON.
– SettleTON: A platform within the TON ecosystem, designed to simplify and enhance the investment process for both seasoned investors and newcomers.
– TON Hedge: Allows traders to speculate on future asset prices or hedge against market volatility, offering flexibility and strategic opportunities within the TON network.
– Torch Finance: An all-in-one DEX on the TON blockchain that combines the best features of Curve Finance and Balancer. It features a stable swap for ultra-low slippage trading and a weighted pool for risk-controlled liquidity provision.
In the eCommerce category, InOne (a digital universe where all your social media identities converge into a single, seamless presence), Unpacks (automates the shopping marketing process, transforming how products and promotions meet their perfect match), and Shopigram (a project envisioning a marketplace where shopping is as simple as sending a message) emerged as winners.
